"Wildlife authorities have acted to eradicate some [Barbary Dove] populations, and at the time of writing the only surviving feral population appears to be in suburban Adelaide. I suspect that not all occurrences of these doves are reported, and small feral populations exist elsewhere, especially in country towns or semirural communities."*
